Composites Innovation Event

We are pleased to invite you to the third edition of the Composites Innovation Event, taking place on 20 and 21 May 2026 at NLR – Royal Netherlands Aerospace Centre in Marknesse, the Netherlands.
Following earlier editions in Germany and the Netherlands, this year the event returns to the Netherlands, continuing the collaboration between CompositesNL and Composites United.

Theme 2026: Composites for Challenging Environments | Bridging Aerospace, Industry and Space Applications

This edition focuses on composite solutions for demanding environments, where performance, reliability and scalable production are critical.
Rather than concentrating on a single sector, the programme explores how aerospace driven composite innovations are translated into broader industrial applications, ranging from space launchers and hydrogen storage to high rate industrial production and safety critical structures.

The programme includes keynote presentations from leading aerospace and space experts, technical sessions on advanced composite materials and manufacturing technologies, discussions on industrialisation and scaling strategies, a facility tour at NLR, company visits on the second day and dedicated networking moments including a joint evening dinner.

Participants can register for admission only or combine admission with a tabletop presentation space. Members of CompositesNL and Composites United benefit from discounted participation fees.

As the event takes place at NLR, strict identification regulations apply.
You must always bring a valid ID when visiting NLR. Accepted documents are passport, national ID card or driver’s license.
Upon arrival you will be required to identify yourself. Access to the premises cannot be granted without valid identification.
