Internationalisation
For a future-proof composites sector, international cooperation is essential. Innovation, market development and regulation are increasingly taking place at the European level. By working actively with international partners, CompositesNL strengthens the position of the Dutch sector within Europe. CompositesNL maintains a strong international network, working closely with EUCIA (the European umbrella organisation for composites interests), foreign industry associations, knowledge institutes and the Netherlands Business Support Offices (NBSOs).
These collaborations ensure that our sector remains well aligned with European developments, policies and programmes. Our members benefit directly from these international connections. We organise joint activities, promote knowledge exchange and encourage participation in projects relevant to the sector.
JEC NL Paviljoen
CompositesNL, in collaboration with ChemistryNL and Holland High Tech, organises the joint ‘NL Pavilion’ at JEC World in Paris, featuring networking activities focused on innovative composite technologies.
International Composites Summit (ICS), Verenigd Koninkrijk
The only 100% composites expo in the UK, held in Wembley (December), featuring conferences, pitch sessions and high-level B2B networking formats.
Composites Europe (voorheen AVK), Duitsland
Annual trade fair (currently held in Stuttgart or Düsseldorf) for composite materials, with over 365 exhibitors and more than 8,000 visitors from the high-tech, automotive and construction sectors.
KOMPOZYT EXPO, Polen
The world’s largest trade fair for composite materials in Poland (Kraków, October, biennial), held in parallel with the JEC Forum Central Europe conference.
Composite Poland (Ptak Warsaw Expo), Polen
Major industry event in Warsaw (February 2026), focused on composite technologies and applications, including conferences on recycling and eco-design.
Eurasian Composites Show, Turkije
International trade fair in Istanbul (November), focusing on new materials, production techniques and application areas across various sectors.

Trade missions organised by the NBSOs, focused on composite sectors and offering market exploration, partner matching and export support.
Composites Innovation Event
Joint event by CompositesNL and Composites United, held alternately in the Netherlands and Germany each year, featuring keynote presentations, company tours and innovative showcases on sustainable composite technologies.
