TNO is an independent research organization, established in 1932,  with approximately 3500 employees. We believe in the joint creation with the industry and other organizations of economic and social values. Composite materials are used and developed throughout the entire TNO organization. For instance as an alternative material for fuel tanks, for medical applications, or for safe integration into operations and processes.
