Epoxy Europe joines EuCIA

Epoxy Europe, part of Cefic (the European Chemical Industry Council), The European trade association for the chemical industry, has joined EuCIA. Epoxy Europe represents the largest epoxy producers in Europe. Collaboration between Epoxy Europe and EuCIA is a big step in strengthening a unified voice of the entire European value chain for composites and also offers Epoxy Europe a better insight into the needs of (downstream) market parties and customers.

Epoxy Europe supports EuCIA’s vision to promote the sustainability of composite materials and improve their circularity. “The epoxy industry supports Europe’s ambition to be climate neutral by 2050,” states Ana Martin, Sector Group Manager, Cefic. “Many fundamental technologies critical for the European Green Deal rely on epoxy resins. We are aligned with EuCIA’s sustainability initiatives; we look forward to sharing knowledge and best practices with EuCIA and its membership to support the sustainable growth of the composites industry in Europe.”
