Composite, a broad key technology

12 November 2019

On Monday, November 11, 2019, the Knowledge and Innovation Covenant (KIC) was signed in which companies, knowledge institutions and the government together establish the knowledge and innovation agendas of key technologies and their financing.

Composite is a broad key technology that can help many sectors to become more sustainable and safer and thereby make a direct contribution to the government’s mission-driven policy in areas such as reducing CO2 emissions, the energy transition and safety. The Dutch composite sector has joined forces and has written a joint agenda and implementation plan to further expand the international leading position.

We are ready to realize this ambition together with the government.

With thanks for the contribution of Marcus Kremers (CompositesNL), Arnt Offringa (GKN Fokker), Jean Pierre Heijster (AutomotiveNL), Simon de Jong (FiberCore Holding), Arnold Vaandrager (VABO) and John Geerts (Suez).
