SAM XL

SAM XL is a manufacturing automation expertise center that forms a unique liaison between TU Delft faculties, the industry, and suppliers. This field lab develops software and hardware to enhance the intelligence, connectivity, and flexibility of industrial robots. This robot technology for executing complex and varied tasks on large structures is validated and demonstrated in their own industrial-scale automation lab. SAM XL also provides hands-on training for students and staff from their industry and research partners, to uplift their digital skills in executing automation projects.

SAM XL is een expertisecentrum voor industriële automatisering dat een unieke verbinding vormt tussen de faculteiten van de TU Delft, de industrie en leveranciers. Dit fieldlab ontwikkelt software en hardware om de intelligentie, connectiviteit en flexibiliteit van industriële robots te verbeteren. Deze robottechnologie voor complexe en gevarieerde taken op grote objecten wordt gevalideerd en gedemonstreerd in het eigen lab op industriële schaal. SAM XL biedt ook ook hands-on training voor studenten en medewerkers van haar industrie en onderzoekspartners, om hun digitale vaardigheden bij het uitvoeren van automatiseringsprojecten te verbeteren.
